Mr Steve Arowolo



Steve Arowolo is the Founder/CEO of the Green Shift Africa Forum; a Pan-African NGO based in Cape Town, South Africa, with footprints and regional representations in all the five regions of Africa. Steve is a Global Change consultant with advance academic training. Steve obtained his first academic degree, in Agricultural Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria; he later proceeded to the University of Fort Hare, South Africa, where he bagged his first Masters (MSc.) Degree in Agricultural Economics. He obtained a second Masters (MSc.) Degree in Climate Change and Development from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Steve is the Founding President/Co-Founder of the Skilled Foreign Nationals in South Africa (SFONSA); a Non- Governmental Organization established to leverage the skills of foreign nationals working and residing in South Africa, towards promoting and strengthening local skills. As an alumnus of the prestigious African Climate and Development Initiative (ACDI) at the University of Cape Town, Steve believes that issues relating to climate Change and Development should form integral part of governance and policy advocacy in Africa. Steve is passionate about people, politics and the planet.
